In case you are unaware, this is how our monthly raffle works.

Each  month we offer three bottles of wine as prizes. Some of these wines can be very expensive and they are always fine wines from our presentations. Tickets are sold at £2.00 each and you can buy as many as you wish.

The net proceeds from the raffle go into a fund and members decide whom they want to benefit. The society then top up the fund (we usually double it) and make the payment to the nominated beneficiary. 

Last year it went to Seeds 4 Success and we donated £350. Seeds4Success is a youth work charity based in Mere, which provides opportunities for personal and social development for young people living in South West Wiltshire.
